NPV of Monthly Lease Payments Due in Excel
18 spreadsheets provide all the cash flow rate of return calculations in version 3.0 plus the addition of three spreadsheets which provide quick calculation tables for Net Present Value and Rate of Return of any lease. The NPV table allows lease payments to be divided into two separate amounts in cells B13 & B14 with different repayment periods C13 & C14 months. Payment settings automatically fill cells F17 to F17 + (C13+C14) total monthly periods in the correct sequence for the correct time periods and the table automatically computes monthly and total NPV figures. The Net Present Value calculations are refreshed on the first day of each month using Excel's date/time functions to automatically roll the table calculations forward by one month every month. The discount rate can be the rate of inflation or the target rate of return required. A separate table calculates the based on any repayment data for up to 250 monthly repayment periods.
