For example, to find the valid Ticker Symbol for DaimlerChrysler in Germany and France:

Open Yahoo! Finance Germany (http://de.finance.yahoo.com/).
Enter "Daimler" in the search box and select "Name".
Perform the search.
In the resulting "Symbol Lookup Results Table," right-click the first WKN/Exchange Code (710000.DE) and select "properties".
In the address (URL) field, the ticker will be shown after the "?s=" - in this case, it is "DCXGn.DE." This ticker can be used to download data using BulkQuotesXL or DownloaderXL..

Note: For the France ticker repeat steps 4 and 5 but for the WKN/Exchange Code 710000.F.
