Click the Connection Points icon on the View
toolbar to show the existing connection points.

is specifically helpful when you need to attach a large number
of connectors to a boundary.
Choose Tools > Snap & Glue.
Choose Snap Geometry of category Glue To. Click OK.
To test:
Add a shape and a connector to your drawing.
Drag the end of the connector to the shape's boundary. Let go when you see Glue To Geometry pops up.
A connection point is added. Drag the shape around, the connector stays connected.
