Documentation and Tools Provided in the Packages
|

type fonts in multiple font formats. You also get the rights to

integrate the fonts into your applications. When you purchase

Some barcode fonts such as Interleaved 2 of 5, Code 128, UPC
and EAN require a checksum character (also called the check
digit) to be calculated and appended to the end of the data and
before the stop character. This character, along with the start
and stop characters, helps the barcode scanner verify that it
has read the barcode correctly. Details of the Complete
BARCODE, MICR and OCR Font Advantage Package are as
follows:
-
Font Tools and
IDAutomation Fontware Included - for easy
integration into applications, we provide several font tools that are free to use
with our fonts. Our font tools automatically format the
start, stop and check characters to the barcode font. The
following tools are included:
- Cross-platform Support - the unique encoding in
our font allows cross-platform support between UNIX,
Macintosh and Windows systems. For example, the same
Microsoft Access application or Excel spreadsheet with our Microsoft® Office Macros can
be used on Windows and Macintosh computers that have our font
installed.
- Embeddable Functionality - the fonts included with
the Developer License allow embedding. Our fonts may be
embedded info PDFs, Word documents and other files that
support embedding so users that do not have the fonts
