| A: Yes, Drill-Down Tally can work directly with ODBC
files (mySql, Sql Server ...) and will work with most any
type of database or application. If your database or
application is not listed under the one of the menu options
[File] [Gateway File Setup...] file types, just let us know
and we will attempt to link Drill-Down Tally to your
data. NOTE: We are always adding new database applications without any additional cost to you. So please contact us with your request and we will do everything possible to work with you. Our goal is to have you utilizing Drill-Down Tally as the one report writer working with all your applications. Instead of learning a different report writer for each application, you'll be able to call on Drill-Down Tally for most of your reporting needs. |
Q: Will Drill Down Tally 2006 work with QuickBooks Basic? |
| A: No, the maker of QuickBooks does not allow this, so we can not offer it to you. But you can export your data to Microsoft Excel and setup a gateway file to the exported Excel file. |
| Q: Can anyone read my reports created with Drill-Down Tally 2006? |
| A: Yes, a license is not needed to read reports saved as a Snapshot report. Drill-Down Tally only needs to be installed on the computer opening the report. You can always save your report in the popular pdf format so you can put it on the internet for downloading. |
Q: Does Drill-Down Tally 2006 allow changes to data in the database? |
| A: No, Drill-Down Tally is only a data analysis report writer. |
