The Generator draws its data from your organization model and associated documents, you can use the notice board to add information, comments or other material to your generated site that is not normally stored in your model.

You may not want to publish everything in your model, with the generator you can select what you want to place on the web by organization element and content for each page.

The generator will also search your model for linked documents (MS Word documents, Excel Spreadsheets etc.), collate those selected for publication, build the required hyper links and then send the pages to your server along with generated pages..

You can also use you own favourite HTML editor to fine tune your site. We have tested the generated pages against many leading editors including Dreamweaver, Top Style, Hot Metal Pro and Interdev. You can use your editor transparently from within the generator. The generator produces syntactically correct HTML and java script and the pages are cross browser compliant.

You can set up the generator to publish your site to a local or remote server. The generator has its own FTP facility. Once configured, which can take as little as five to ten minutes, there is no need for any specialist technical knowledge whatsoever to operate the generator. All that is needed for publication is an IP address, password, server account and a directory in which to put your generated site.
