  Setting Milestones Milestones break down projects into segments. Work backwards from the deadline and enter all the milestones which are critical to the project’s success.   Registering time spent By registering time spent on a task, the task account will automatically and immediately be updated and, together with it, the project account. This gives you a real time view of the balance between time allocated and time spent, as well as between budgeted labour costs and actual labour costs.   Status Control and Reporting When monitoring complex projects, it is vital to be permanently informed on the progress of each activity in the project and, hence alerted on delays. It is crucial to be able to access a rapid overview of the status of the project and its milestones to focus on what is important. The status of the elements of your project will be indicated by the colour of the bar in the Gantt card and the symbols in the legend.
