Our Code 39 Barcode Font Package allows you to print Code 39 symbols. The installation program supports Windows platform, but the font is designed for use on Windows, Macintosh, UNIX and other Postscript platforms. If you own a valid license and need to use the Postscript font on other platforms, we will be glad to provide you for free.

Unlike the fonts supplied by other vendors, our Code 39 font package not only includes the true type font file, but also complete documentation, source code and free web tools. The font package does not just include one font file, it actually contains 10 true type fonts, allowing you easily choose the one best suitable for your application.

Package Contents

The package contains the following 10 true type font files. In addition to these ten true type font files, we also provide Font Tools for you to integrate our barcode fonts with applications.

Font Specification

The number in parenthesis is height for these fonts with underlying text.
The measure unit for font height is inch (1inch =2.54cm).
CPI - Characters Per Inch. When calculating the actual length, you need count the two start/stop characters
The height refers to the actual bar height, not the height of the font when rasterized. The font is scaled both in horizontally and vertically, to calculate the size under a different point size, use formula: (size_at_12_pt)*actual_point_size/12.

Special Character Mapping

The start/stop characters are mapped to asterisk (*). In occasions * has special meaning, you may use left bracket [ and right bracket ] to substitute *.

To be compatible with Microsoft Word, the space character is mapped to "=" character (in versions prior to Oct. 1, 2003 the space character is still mapped to space).
