AutoFTP Service allows you to select any number of files from any FTP site or your local computer, from different directories, to download or upload. You can save them into templates (transfer sets). In the future click on the Load push button in the Transfer Manager window and load a previously defined transfer set from the Load Transfer Set dialog box. You can schedule the upload / download transfer sets for any future date/time with the ftp scheduler.

Special Actions
Ready to use ftp scripting function allows you to automate the transfer and management of files and directories on your local computer, ftp servers, and web sites. You can define a group of special actions (remove folder, delete file, execute application, other ftp commands) and save them for future reuse. Scheduler allows you execute scripts at any time with any intervals.

Special Actions function in Transfer Manager lets you to execute and schedule the following functions: Create Folder , Remove Folder, Delete File, Send Command, Execute Application, Delete Local Non-Existing Files, Delete Remote Non-Existing Files, Upload Site (Folder), Download Site (Folder), Delete Site (Folder).

Upload and Download Site (Folder) allows you to transfer the entire content from the selected folder/directory. Upload and Download Site (Folder) with Synchronize allows you to "mirror" folders and directories between local and remote computers. It is very useful function for updating Web sites, mirroring FTP servers, backing up the entire content from the selected directories, or automatically updating contents of the local computers and servers.

FTP History Log
AutoFTP Premium maintains a detailed Activity Log so you can easily find out which transfers were successful, which failed and why. AutoFTP can send email notification with information about successful or failed file transfers.

The log files are stored in "logs" subdirectory with one log file per day. The log file names are based on the system date e.g. 09_16_03.txt. The log files are in a standard text format.

Excellent remote backup utility. I have downloaded and tested several so-called automated ftp programs the last few days and this is the best one I've tried so far.
